PERSONALITY:

Outwardly, Zero is loud, aggressive, rash and honestly murderous. She seems to be a brawn over brains any day sort of gal. And she is, sort of– all these things are consequences of an innate need to survive and succeed. When it comes to the things she wants Zero is insatiable and will cut down whoever and whatever she needs to to get them.

Hardened by all the world has put her through, she can often be crass and rude– having little respect or patience for anything that's needlessly polite or beats around the bush too much. She is forward in what she believes and what she wants, and seems to care little about who she offends in the process.

At her core she is surprisingly enough, someone with a strong sense of duty. She hates failing, she hates being a burden. Despite the hatred she harbors for the world and what it has put her through, in the end she sets out to save it– believing that its imminent end is her fault. In universes where she chooses her own desires over saving the world, she makes her guilt known. She is someone who has always wanted to good by the world, but has never lived in a world that would let her do good.

Betrayal is one of the only things she considers unforgivable, and shows no mercy to anyone who tries to pull the wool over her eyes or use her to their own ends. It is rare she trusts other people, but for the few she does her loyalty is unwavering and she's willing to let the entire world meet its end in the name of protecting someone she cares about.

Straightforward as she is, rarely is she open about her own feelings– opting instead to be crass or internalize whatever it is she feels. Her haughty and crude nature is to mask her guilt and self-loathing. She tries her best to seem unflappable and unaffected, because her rule of thumb in life is that no one can take anything from you if you have nothing to take– whether that be something material, or something intangible like her pride or love. Every part of her is an attempt to cope with the world she was born into, and in the end there is no one she blames more for how she ended up the way she did than herself.

CANON POWERS:

- as an Intoner, Zero was once granted god-like abilities that took the form of incredible strength, speed and regeneration/healing to the point of making her nearly immortal.
- if ever injured to the point of death, the flower in her eye would generate a new body.
- as an intoner Zero is also capable of summoning angels with her songs, which take the form of various beasts. However, if she summons them without the help of a disciple the process takes a grave toll on her body.
- even outside of her Intoner abilities, Zero is an incredibly skilled fighter– fast on her feet and an expert in swordsmanship; her death count was in the triple digits even before the flower granted her magical abilities.

Zero's left arm is a prosthetic, capable of motion because of the parasite living in her body.
